Just curious...

I am just curious to see if any of you have a favorite Michael Jackson song. Mine & Donald's fave is Dirty Diana. (If your speakers are on you should be hearing it now.) Anyone else brave enough to admit they like his music? Crazy or not, we lost a musical legend.

P.S.
A little bit of Donald Parr trivia: he is a Michael Jackson music buff!

frogs poop?

If you think hard enough, the old adage is probably true about learning something new every day. Today was no exception and what I learned is easy to remember and impossible to forget.
FROGS POOP!
Ugh!
Anyone who knows me, knows I am NOT, nor do I pretend to be, a wildlife kinda girl. So you can imagine my dismay to learn that the odd tubular-shaped, insect filled "things" we've been finding on our back patio are actually frog poop. I am seriously grossed out; almost as much as I was when I learned about roach droppings. (That discovery is another story worth saving for another time. I wouldn't want to infringe on the frog's spotlight.) Donald caught a frog "in action" tonight and solved the mystery just before I made a fool of myself carrying frog poop to the Extension Office asking for help!
I share this with the world for 3 reasons:
1. To equally gross you out and make your skin crawl along with mine
2. To find out if anyone else knew frogs pooped?
3. Most importantly, to ask if anyone knows how to get rid of our pesky amphibian friends?!?!
P.S.
I must confess that it is so hard to resist my sick and twisted sense of humor's instinct to post a picture of the poop. Lucky for you, and your appetite, my better judgment prevailed.

Jansen, Jasper & Coco

3 little monkeys not jumping on the bed in this case, but definitely finding trouble! Who knew getting locked into a dog kennel could prove to be so much fun?!?

Coco & Manolo: love at first sight!

Coco LOVES to play in my shoes and jewelry. I have established "Coco's drawer" in my jewelry armoire which houses all things bejeweled that are toddler proof (and without value). The shoes are a little more difficult to distinguish. This is a snapshot of a typical day in the life of Coco. She is actually wearing her own jewelry - pearls and a bracelet that are a little over-the-top for her outfit - and shoes compliments of Mom's closet. These are her FAVORITE pair of shoes. What you can't see is that they are my beloved Manolo Blahnik's. Overpriced shoes my precious husband bought me as an ode to Carrie Bradshaw's shoe addiction (one which I share but don't have the cash flow to support). Needless to say I have stashed these far, far out of her sweet little reach. Now, whenever she spots the box, she has a breakdown begging to wear them. It's almost as if she knows they are special. This begs the question: Do we have a future fashionista on our hands?

Like mother, like son?

For all those inquiring minds about Sebastian's "wild man" cheetah outift on his birth announcement, here's a photo explanation:

He's going to kill me one day, I know, but I just couldn't resist the matching p.j's! Seriously...could you?!
